Recipes and the published weekly menu are shared with everyone who visits. Only the administrator can change them. Draft menus are visible only to the administrator until published. Visitors’ meal choices and grocery check-offs are saved privately in their own browser and are never changed by publishing.

“Next menu” adds a recipe to your draft weekly menu — visitors don’t see it until you publish. “Visible to visitors” controls whether a recipe appears in the public recipe library. Importing a backup adds its recipes to the library and puts its menu into your draft.
